I'm not very good at soldering. I only managed to replace the tone pot, and then only after making the capacitor sweat. Now the deafening crackle is gone but it's been replaced by inconsistent buzz. Somebody needs to sell a fully-wired kit I can just drop in. I hate soldering.

And I discovered that the nut is cracked under the D-string slot.

I'm not gonna be able to gig with this thing without backup.
