Last night we barrelled up 95 to Baltimore to find out that the Urge Overkill show at the Hard Rock Cafe had been cancelled because only 14 tickets were sold ahead of time. This is poor form.

I blame TicketMaster, because nobody is going to pay those bogus surcharges for a show that probably won't sell out.

I blame the promoter for failing to realize this.

Since I'm in a blaming mood, I blame Hard Rock for playing recorded music too loud in the restaurant and society for letting all this happen.

Sorry to hear about that. Having made a few trips to cancelled shows, I know it ain't a fun time.

You would think that Hard Rock/Ticketmaster would have contacted people accordingly. The last time I had a show get change (let alone cancel), the venue called me up, told me about the change and offered me a refund if the new line up was not of interest to me.
