There were plenty good bands at this year's Austin City Limits Music Fest but our favorite performer was Beatle Bob, a 50-year-old power pop fan in Sgt. Pepper dress uniform who weasels all-access passes at festivals so he can dance up close with his favorite bands.

He's a controversial character who may be close to overexposure. I see he's on the speaker list for this weekend's Dewey Beach Fest. We'll have our eyes peeled.
